Indigestion is another name for an upset stomach. Symptoms include bloating, cramps, discomfort in the abdomen and heartburn above the breastbone. Flatulence and intestinal gas often accompany indigestion. Persistent indigestion needs professional medical attention.
Ways to relieve Indigestion
- Chew food well and eat slowly.
- If you plan on participating in a physical activity eat your meal one hour in advance or an hour after the event.
