Aloe vera: Natural herb available as a cream or gel, makes an affected area heal faster and may prevent recurrences.
Lemon balm: Has antiviral activity against HSV-2 in cell culture and may reduce HSV symptoms in herpes infected people.
Carrageenans: Linear sulphated polysaccharides extracted from red seaweeds—have been shown to have antiviral effects in HSV-infected cells and in mice.
Resveratrol: A compound naturally produced by plants and a component of red wine. Use in conjunction with other supplementation.
Selfheal: Natural plant prevents expression of both type 1 and type 2 herpes in cultured cells.
Baking soda: Apply directly on affected area (cotton ball) making sure not to dip more then once per ball (contamination).
Hydrgen peroxide: Applly with a cotton ball everytime you go to the bathroom. May sting a little.
Milkweed: The white milky sap is placed in a lotion containing aloe and vitamin E. Dilute to about 10%, dab on with cotton ball two or three times a day for a two or three weeks.
Milk: Soak cotton balls in milk and apply to the affected areas.
Ice: Applied to sores will reduce pain and itching. Use a water bottle or something similar, use as needed.
Immune system: The number one thing you can do to prevent herpes virus attacking you is boosting your immune system with high quality natural supplements. Additionally by eating a healthy diet, exercising and getting sufficient sleep.
Echinacea: Natural herb famous for its antiviral and immune-boosting properties.
