Remedies for Canker Sores
Canker sore also known as aphthous ulcers is an oral ulcer that is found in the mouth. Canker sores appear as shallow, painful sores inside the mouth or upper throat. They also occur on the tongue and on the inside of the cheeks and lips, and the base of the gums.

Ways to relieve canker sores.
- Gargle regularly with an antibacterial mouth wash or salt water.
- Brushing and flossing twice daily will reduce the chances of developing an infection.
- Avoid hot and spicy foods.
- Suck on ice chips or apply ice directly to affected areas for fast pain relief.
- Add Vitamin B12 as a daily supplements also make sure you are getting enough folic acid iron.
- Eliminate chewing gum, lozenges with sugar, and candy.
- Eat products containing acidophilus, such as cottage cheese, yogurt, kefir, or buttermilk.
- Avoid foods and beverages that create more acidity. Sodas, for example, are very acidic.
- Canker sores are often an indicator or symptom of a underlying problem such as the onset of a cold or flu.
