Remedies For Bad Breath
Bad breath or Halitosis is a very awkward and troublesome condition.
Ways to relieve Bad Breath
- Drink plenty of water daily and drink less coffee.
- Clean your tongue with a tongue scraper when you brush your teeth.
- Chewing raw celery sticks helps to freshen breath.
- Make regular visits to your dentist.
- Eat at regular intervals as this increases saliva production and reduces bad breath.
- Gargle daily with a good anti-bacterial mouth wash.
- Don't smoking.

Tea tree oil: Brush teeth using a toothpaste containing tea tree oil, or put a few drops of tea tree oil on your toothbrush alone, or with your regular toothpaste.
Chlorophyll: Buy liquid or chlorophyll tablets at a health food store. Chlorophyll has a deodorizing effect.
Spirulina: Good source of chlorophyll, available either in capsule or loose form.
Cloves: Make a tea by putting three whole or 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves in 2 cups of hot water, and steep for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour through a fine strainer and use as a mouthwash or gargle twice a day.
Sage: Contains essential oils with antibacterial properties. Chew, helps neutralize bad breath.
Filberts: Absorb the bad breath by slowly chewing.
Peppermint or Spearmint Gum: Chewing gum stimulates the production of saliva.
Organic herbs: Chewing wintergreen, mint, parsley, thyme, basil and rosemary will eliviate bad breath.
Parsley & mint: Chew a few parsley sprigs dipped in vinegar for instant relief. Chewing parsley or mint leaves reduce the production of intestinal gas by promoting better digestion.
Hydrogen peroxide: Did you know sinuses can become infected and cause bad breath? Dilute with 50% water and put five to ten drops in each nostril and sniff hard and fast. Twice daily should do it.
Salt water: This worked for grandma! Gargling with salt water cleans out the bad stuff.
Baking soda: Brush away!
