Vinegar, white: The acidity of the vinegar will kill the fungus. Add half a cup of white vinegar to a gallon of water, and soak for 10-15 minutes twice a day.
Vinegar, apple cider: Rub the affected area with cotton balls, rinse after 30 minutes. Also try a cup of vinegar in 3 quarts of very warm water and soak the foot for 15-20 minutes; repeat twice a day.
Tea tree oil: Depending on severity, use 5-15% solutions daily, diluting the tea tree oil with olive oil. Do this several times a day.
Alcohol, rubbing: Dilute with a little water and dab on the affected area with cotton balls and allowed to dry.
Aloe vera: Apply as a gel twice daily.
Salt: Soak your feet for 10-15 minutes in a mixture of two teaspoons of salt to a pint of warm water.
Neem oil: Mix 1 tablespoon of neem oil with 1/2 cup of a carrier oil such as almond or olive and apply twice a day.
Jewelweed: Also known as impatiens or touch-me-not. Rub juice from this plant, on the infected area.
Baking soda: Sprinkle baking soda on the feet and in your shoes and socks. Also, try soaking feet in a solution of baking soda and water for about 30 minutes everyday.
Cinnamon: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, add 8 broken sticks of cinnamon, reduce heat to low and simmer for five minutes. Let set for about an hour and use as a foot bath.
DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide): Very effective! Follow directions provided on product bottle.
