Ways to relieve Acid Reflux:
Eliminate fatty, spicy foods, milk, coffee, oranges, tomatoes, chocolate, peppermint and alcohol that may trigger stomach reflux symptoms.
If you are overweight, lose some weight to relieve symptoms.
Eat slowly and always sit up straight when eating.
Avoid going to bed on a full stomach – eat a meal at 2-3 hours before lying down.
Eat smaller meals throughout the day and avoid overeating.
Elevate the head of your bed by placing blocks or a bedwedges under the bedposts to alleviate gastric reflux
Wear loose fitting clothes to release pressure on your stomach.
Stop smoking.
Reduce stress levels by exercising.
Drink more clean cool water.

Bananas: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body. You may also use ground dried banana.
Clove Oil: Put a few drops of oil of clove in a glass of water and sip slowly.
Chamomile: Make a tea by simmering 1 teaspoon of licorice root in 11/4 cups of water for 10 minutes in a covered pot. Add 2 teaspoons of dried chamomile, cover and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink.
Turmeric: Helps stimulate digestion and prevents acid build-up.
Ginger Root: Ginger is helpful for indigestion. Take a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root or 1,000 mg of the powder daily.
Licorice or DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice: Do not take if you have hypertension.
Apple Cider Vinegar: 2 Teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in water, 3x a day directly after a heavy meal. Please use organic, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar.
