Drug Companies Are Making Us Sick With Prescription Medications

How is this possible? What does this say for our society when the very people that are deemed our protectors are in fact our benefactors in our demise?

Drug Companies is a business and businesses of any kind have one ultimate goal and that is to make as much money as they can. Corporations have executive officers that report to board members and board members have to answer to stock holders who are only interested in making a profit from their investment. Drug companies are made up of wonderful people, friends, and neighbors who go to work and earn a living. I believe the vast majority of these employees are sincere hard working people who do their job thinking they make a difference. God Bless them! I believe the greed comes from the top.

The pressure is tremendous to make as large a profit as possible to make everyone happy and wealthy. There is no other reason to be in business if not to make money, a lot of money. Now why should we think pharmaceutical drug companies are any different? They are not any different! The fact of the matter is big drugs are interested in their best interest. Am I saying that there is a conspiracy? No not a conspiracy a fact of life, the pursuit of more and more money with the pressure to bare will inevitably bring out the worst in all of us. So we should not be surprised that pharmaceutical drug companies have their best interest as a top priority.

We are inundated with TV commercials by big drugs directed at you and me. Now the question is why would the drug companies go directly to us instead of placing their money elsewhere? Well the answer is rather simple and that is our society is all about me. The drug companies know this. They know that we are self absorbed in ourselves in how we look and how we feel. Direct marketing to the consumer is an obvious and necessary extension to grab more of our money.

Remember drug companies have a vested interest and that is to make a lot of money. Millions upon millions upon millions are spent to get you to ask your doctor to prescribe their drug to you. Are they really that much concerned about your good health? If in fact drug companies were truly concerned with keeping you healthy, wouldn't they be taking all that advertising money and putting it back into research?

If you have read any of my other articles you know that I am inalterably opposed to drugs of any kind may they be prescribed or over the counter. I sincerely believe drugs poison our bodies and make us sick. Drugs mask the underlying disease and may temporarily ease the symptoms but do little else except to add more pain and suffering with side affects. Men made drugs are not natural substances found anywhere in our bodies. In fact they are foreign and detrimental to good health. Only naturally found supplements can naturally heal the body.

Have you noticed drug companies are not in the business to cure a disease? Why is that? There is no money in eradicating a disease, where would that leave the drug companies? OUT OF BUSINESS! If our best interest is the trust of drug company's existence well show me the cures not more drugs.

The drug industry sees it differently. They argue that the tremendous amount of money budgeted toward advertising is necessary to educate the public. Educate for what end?

Ironically I don't blame drug companies for their tactics; any business has the right to make as much money they can that's the American way. I blame the American public for not educating themselves properly. We as a society need to think for ourselves. There is medicalization of our society, we pop a pill for practically anything and visit emergency rooms for relative minor things.

With the help of your medical practitioner begin to carefully wean off of your prescription and over the counter drugs. Find a reputable natural health practitioner and begin a wholesome diet and supplement with all natural vitamins, minerals, herbs etc. Grab hold of your life and take command!
